I did that. I even restarted Lotus Notes and the Designer to see if this was a cache problem.

They are not protected from design replace and they are not set to receive updates from other templates. The timestamps are consistent with the date and time I did the design refresh.
The only way I managed to get around this was to delete the shared column from all the view, create a new shared column pointing to the new field I wanted to display and then insert that shared column in to every single view. Kind of defeats the purpose of shared columns, if you ask me.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
